Dr. Paul, that's a great analogy! Whether you be like a cow winding its way through the prairie, or a stray bullet headed completely in the wrong direction (albeit straight), if you don't take responsibility for your own decisions, you will not end up where you wanted to go (or you'll be way behind when you get there). -Michael

Yes! Figure out where you want this to go and then lead it there. Sometimes in my seminars I talk about shooting a gun - where does the bullet go? Most people say it goes wherever you are aiming the gun. But what if you aren't aiming it? The bullet still goes somewhere - for sure! Where it goes depends a lot on where you are pointing it, so start pointing it on purpose. A project, product, team, relationship, or your life is going somewhere - for sure! Where it goes depends a lot on where you aim it.
